Martha Mapes, Harpist

Martha was lovely and easy to coordinate with - I certainly intend to hire her again!

Martha was extremely prompt, poised and very professional. She added so much class and elegance to our event. She is beautiful inside and out. If you book her, you will be so glad that you did... I will be adding photos by the end of the week.

I had the most pleasurable, enjoyable and delightful experience with GigSalad. My guest and I discovered that Miss Martha Mapes was an extremely talented and skillful harpist. She was able to accompany one of the guests with the harp with no rehearsal. The performance was flawless. In addition, later Miss. Martha Mapes entertained the guests with solo music on the harp. Her selections were marvelous, superb and very pleasing. Her interactions with the guests were polite, respectful, well mannered, accommodating and thoughtful. In the future, I would certainly call on Miss Martha Mapes to perform. In other words, if you're looking for someone to do an excellent performance with a wonderful personality, extremely accommodating, pleasurable, get the job done flawlessly; I would highly recommend Miss Martha Mapes.

My father died recently and he requested a harpist at his funeral visitation. We contacted Martha on a Friday evening to play Sunday afternoon. She was quick to respond and we easily, thru GIGSalad, worked out all details. Martha set up in the entry area so as people arrived, and waited, for Dad's visitation they were treated to her amazing musical talent. She was wonderful!

Martha was awesome. Even better than we hoped for. Had sent her a few request rock songs to see if she could include with her set. She spent extra time to prepare and was right on the money with her performance.

Do not think that age has anything to do with quality. Martha is young, but her talent is professional and her music ethereal. When Martha practiced her music, we kept hearing comments of the beauty. During the ceremony, her music was so moving and she provided a spiritual, magical atmosphere. She also arranged a piece, for a small amount, that was not in her repertoire that I wanted for our procession. Martha is so talented and will go so far professionally.
