About
Martin Budde is professional guitarist, composer and educator based in Seattle WA. Originally from Small town Alaska he has attended Idyllwild Arts Academy, New England Conservatory and has a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in music. He has been playing professionally since his teens years and is a top call guitarist and composer in the Seattle area and west coast. He currently plays with Seattle/New York based contemporary Jazz group “Meridian Odyssey” who’s first release “Second Wave” was voted as on of the top 15 Seattle records of 2020 and second full length album “Earthshine” was voted as one of the top 20 Seattle releases in 2022 by the Seattle Times. Martin’s sophomore record "Back Burner" was released spring of 2024 on Origin Records.
