Mat Cowan

Mat has a great personality and does well hosting from the mic throughout the performance or service. His professionalism shines through in his preparation and ability to fluidly move through a service.

Mat can provide music alone, a short message and music - whatever the need is.

Mat has been a musician since he was 8 years old. Growing up in the church allowed ample opportunity for him to worship and learn how to lead. Mat spent most of his teen years as a part of thriving praise and worship bands that created and performed original music and participated in small midwest tours. Mat has had the opportunity to perform with and open for well-known acts such as Shane & Shane, Randall Goodgame, and Shawn McDonald. In his adulthood, he has found himself in many roles with regard to worship. His favorite place to be is creating an atmosphere of worship and leading others to an intimate face-to-face encounter with the Creator.

Mat is 43 years old and has been married to his best friend since 2003. They have two beautiful children and a life full of stories of God's grace and amazing provision.

A professionally installed sound system or professional grade PA System with two inputs for mic and guitar is required.

An in-ear monitor system is preferred, although a floor monitor is sufficient and the required minimum.
