Matt is an emcee and improviser with over 20 years of experience doing both improv and theater. He is a graduate of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater. He currently performs regularly with Sea Tea Comedy Theater in Hartford, CT, and is a member of their international touring company. Over the last 20 years, he has been seen on improv stages around the country including The Second City & The New York Improv Festival.
As a host/emcee/auctioneer he has raised thousands of dollars hosting events for non profits & corporations around CT and NY. He also has emceed weddings and other live events. He’d love to bring his spontaneous wit and charm to your next event!

Matt is an emcee, actor and improviser from New Milford, CT.
As a host/emcee he has raised thousands of dollars hosting and serving as auctioneer at gala fundraisers for non profit organizations around CT and NY. In addition to fundraisers, he has emceed weddings, hosted concerts and live events for nearly 20 years.
He has been seen on the stage acting in 100+ productions in the tri-state area over the last 20 years, including Little Shop of Horrors, Boeing Boeing and the CT premiere of An Act of God (which won an AACT award).
As an improviser, he is a graduate of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, where he was also fortunate enough to perform for a short time. Theater background aside, he spent 10 years working in the NYC theater industry for (link hidden). After that he spent 10 years working in mental health & education. He was a counselor working with victims of domestic violence & sexual assault. He also was a prevention educator working in schools with students and educators on violence prevention. He eventually became the Director of Education and oversaw the entire prevention education program for The Center for Empowerment and Education.
Matt considers himself a therapeutic humorist believing that improv and comedy can help heal, create confidence and help us all to grow. He uses many of his improv games and techniques in his violence prevention and mental health work.
