Matthew Lapp

Matthew was very thorough in his preparation for coming to our event . He was punctual, gracious and plays an absolutely beautiful hammer dulcimer. He was aware of his audience and attentive to their questions and responses; since many were not familiar with the instrument itself. He changed playing positions to accommodate everyone seeing how the instrument is played. I would highly recommend him for performances. In our case, it was a retirement community, but beyond that, he just has a flawless, beautiful sound and a gentle calm presence.

I used Matthew as a musician on our worship band numerous times for church functions. He always came prepared, already knowing the music I sent him preovious and having perfected the solo parts. He is very responsive with his communication and very professional at the event. I would highly recommend him, and will continue to use him myself.

Matthew worked with us to host an excellent show for which we received a standing ovation. He was prompt in replying to coordination correspondence and flexible with scheduling the show around our dancers. There were some last minute changes that Matthew flexed around. Furthermore, he courageously played accompaniment for our dancers without having even rehearsed! It was excellent, and the crowd knew it! Many audience members personally congratulated his skills after the performance. We hope to work together again soon!

Matthew was awesome, very professional. I had so many of our customers say to me how much they enjoyed the music. He truly has a gift. We had a full house till the end! He sure does have a big fan base in the Spring City/Royersford area!
