I am a drummer of 25 years with extensive experience in session and live work. I have the dexterity to play all types of music and offer a musical and visceral style of playing. I have a kit and can travel.
My playing is mainly improvisatory, but I can nail down parts, if required. Some of my current influences are Mark Guiliana, Ari Hoenig, Chris Dave, and Brad Mehldau.
I also have extensive experience in recording and performing piano, bass, and voice. I compose all types of music, as well.

Matthew Vitti produces and performs original music ranging from large-scale orchestral works, and chamber works, to avant-garde rock, and aleatoric works. Matthew has independently studied music all his life, focusing on voice and composition at Lawrence Conservatory of Music, and further studying composition with Jessica Rudman at The Hartt School. Former mentors and teachers include: Kenneth Bozeman, Arthur Sjögren, Dale Duesing, and Jim Lang. Outside of classical music, Matthew has been a live and session drummer, keyboardist, singer, bassist, and arranger for the past 18 years.
In addition to performing, Matthew has produced, arranged, recorded, and educated a vast array of artists, ensembles, and students. He currently resides, creates, and teaches in upstate New York.
