Unfortunately, I was unable to reach her by phone to discuss changes and final details. I would have liked to have had more music while guest were waiting. I understand her being anxious because we were late starting.
I think had we been able to tAlk she might have been more comfortable.

I was asked to play a 15 minute prelude. I played a half hour as a courtesy to the couple. Weddings do run late sometimes. No one knew the bride and grooms status on arrival. So I got up to ask the minister. The wedding started 45 minutes late.
As for communication, I sent a message thru GigSalad a week and then two days before the wedding asking the bride to confirm her music and I sent the play list we had discussed. She messaged back confirming the songs and their order.
The most disheartening part of this review is that the bride asked if I’d work with her budget instead of charging my full fee. Since it was supposed to be a short wedding, I agreed. I ended up staying much longer waiting for the wedding party’s arrival, played for less than my fee and got a 3 out of 5 stars for my effort.
Michele was unable to attend but when she told me this she had already found someone else to cover for her. I really appreciated that. Kelly who came to play was professional and a pleasure to have at our event. Thank you Michele!
I employed Michele for a birthday party for my sister. All of the guests were most impressed. It was a real addition to the party. I highly recommend her .

Harp is both elegant and beautiful. It's music gives a feeling of class, regality and peace in traditional settings like churches, weddings and funerals. The harp can also play contemporary music, which I often do in restaurants and corporate events. Private dinner parties and romantic settings are perfect places that I love to play. The harp is soft enough to not be intrusive but bold enough to set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

Classically trained as a pianist, I then studied harp just after university. I have been performing throughout Michigan, Chicago and Canada for the past twenty years. I have been fortunate enough to perform with many, local talented musicians as well as musicians from the UK. In the past five years, I have released two albums, first a Celtic, the second Classical. Both are available on iTunes. I teach harp in my studio, Michigan Conservatory. When I'm not working as a soloist, I also perform with Pebble Creek Orchestra where I'm also a board member.
I compose music for podcasts and for weddings.
My harp is equipped with an internal pick up that plugs into any amplifier or in house system.
