Hi, I’m Mindi Cunningham and I can accompany myself with piano or guitar. I am also a drummer. I can cover many different types of songs. Some of my specialties are a little jazz, 90’s alternative and classic rock. I’m a mezzo-soprano and I can also do some classical pieces, including “Habanera” from Carmen.
Mindi performed at our local library, a one hour set of covers from the '90s. From beginning to end her professionalism was evident, as was her enjoyment of the music itself. She is a multi-talented performer, both singing and playing the piano beautifully. The patrons enjoyed Mindi's set tremendously, and her covers of some great songs from the '90s created a lovely sense of nostalgia for those in the audience who grew up during that time. From Hanson to Radiohead, with some Cranberries in between, Mindi was a delightful performer and the library would welcome a return show!
Response from Mindi Cunningham:
Thank you so much for this generous review. I thoroughly enjoyed performing at the library, would love to do it again sometime!
All the best,
Mindi Cunningham

The audience can expect a mixture of easy listening rhythm and blues and Americana covers with a sprinkling of catchy original tunes played either on guitar or piano and sometimes with synthesized sounds. My singing style is technically strong and versatile and I’m versed in classical performance as well.
Hi, Im Mindi Cunningham and I’m a singer/songwriter style artist although I mainly do cover songs. I have a degree in Business Administration but my first love is music. I have more experience in theater but I have experience playing with a band and solo as well. I play drums, piano and guitar and I sing mezzo-soprano. I have a very extensive repertoire and I’m interested in many different types of gigs/venues.
My theater experience includes the part of Bellomy in The Fantasticks, Kate Keller in The Miracle Worker and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. I also performed non-union in a professional Christmas story Let Us Adore Him for Rocky Hock Playhouse in Edenton, NC. I performed The Star Spangled Banner, O Holy Night and Habanara at the senior showcase at the ECSU Fine Art Center.
I’ve played piano, drums and sang since I was 16 in various different church worship services. I also played drums and sang back up for Ticky Tacky a band that was later known as Fourth and Twenty. I switched to lead/backup vocals and piano when we changed the name.
I have my own PA, patch cables, guitar, keyboard and microphones. I would need seating, musics stands, and somewhere to plug in. Unless the venue is small and only requires an acoustic set.
