We entrepreneurs daily face many unexpected challenges, including those that COVID-19 brought forth. I'm your motivational coach, cheerleader. and provider of reasons why not to give up on your business. I also speak on computer trends and topics that businesses and organizations need to know, as well as how those entities can implement strategies to help them adjust to the remote lifestyle.
All activities will be primarily virtual. Any travel requests outside of the Toledo, OH area will incur additional charges. Moreover, COVID-19 policies must be adhered to including six-feet distancing, masks, and that the venue and its equipment have passed COVID-19 rules and regulations.
Amber Hawkins is a wonderful speaker! She's knowledgeable, friendly, and slow-paced. I have difficulty processing large amounts of information and can easily be disengaged, so when I came across her presentation style, I was hooked! She kept each section brief, threw in some jokes, and allowed the audience to ask a lot of questions! I definitely will go to her next event. I highly recommend Amber!

Amber Hawkins hails from Toledo, Ohio, one of 3 daughters to Walter and Gussie Hawkins (both deceased); their brother Arthur passed away years prior. While attending Cardinal Stritch High School (now called Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School & Academy), it was noticeable she was the only African-American female in her class who was a member of the National Honor Society. She then attended the University of
Findlay (formerly Findlay College) with a dual BA in Spanish/Social Work.
She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology—Human Resources Specification from the University of Toledo. More than seven layoffs resulted in her attending ASSETS Toledo to learn about entrepreneurship. After graduation she used $1,000 of unemployment money, a wing, and prayer to birth Your Computer Needs of Toledo, LLC. The company will begin year #17 on January 1, 2022.
Your Computer Needs of Toledo, LLC provides customized onsite (COVID-19 stipulations), online, and e-mobile computer training and consulting services. The company also has an online computer and accessories store. Amber brings over 20 years of computer experience to the table. She additionally brings over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience in order to help fellow entrepreneurs achieve goals in having their businesses more technologically sound, and to help their employees and/or contractors become more computer literate.
