Bill was so great! We had a really nice service and although I wasn't quite sure what to expect, Bill was nice enough to take the lead and read to room and the service so he played prior to our speakers. It was so nice of him to wait until the end of the service to play again and he played outside, thankfully it wasn't too cold. The indoor pipes sounded amazing and I know my dad was smiling. Thank you Bill!

Bill Munro is who you want for an authentic bagpiper experience.!He added so much to our Memorial ceremony and added music that was so appropriate and enhanced our event.

We hired Bill to play at my Mom’s memorial service. She had long requested that bagpipes be played at her funeral. Bill was on time, very professional and the music was perfect. We were all very moved as he played Amazing Grace while her casket was placed into the hearse. I highly recommend him.

Bill was fantastic! He arrived early and prepared to play in the rain at my beloved parent’s burial. He positioned himself perfectly to play his awesome bagpipes to welcome our family members and friends to beautiful Irish tunes of Old Danny Boy, While Irish Eyes Are Smile among others. As the service was ending he ended with two beautiful songs that my family really loved - Going Home and Amazing Grace. It was a beautiful service and the beautiful way he played made it all the more special for all of us there who came to honor the memory of my loving parents . From the first contact to last was professional and personable. We did not have to worry about anything and our family would like to thank him for his kindness and caring.

Mr. Bill Munro played "Highland Cathedral" at my 9/18/21 wedding. All of my guest were impressed with his beautiful bagpipe playing. I would recommend Mr. Munro for any occasion. GREAT.

Bill was able to use social distancing in a manner that was touching. For my husband's 60th birthday surprise, Bill played from the backyard. At first, my husband heard the bagpipe and couldn't figure out which direction the music came from and got up to look around thinking it was coming from a different house. When I said, the music is for you go look out the kitchen window, my husband was genuinely surprised and touched. Bill even gave a toast. What a nice touch.
We recommend Bill and hope to see him again.

Bill drove over an hour for our funeral services... was very responsive and flexible which is important given all the changing details surrounding a funeral. I gave him the time and location at the church and he took everything from there. The sound of bagpipes as the family enters and exits the church is worth the investment.

I contacted Bill at the very last minute after the unexpected passing of a loved one and he was so quick to respond. He communicated right away to work out any details. Bill knew exactly what to play and it was very comforting given how many other things we needed to coordinate. He was there early and ready to play the minute we arrived at the cemetery. Thank you Bill for bringing the beauty of the bagpipes. It made the day just a little easier.

I would encourage anyone who wants to add a traditional style to their event to hire Mr, Munroe. Beautiful music, lovely kilt, kind man.

Mr. Munro performed beautiful memorial service music for us. Even though he did not feel especially well, he did not cancel and still did a wonderful job. We are very grateful.

A country cemetery setting around a pond, rolling hills and the sound of bagpipes, a memory not to ever forget. Bill knew exactly what was necessary to make this celebration of life perfect as he performed, right down to his exit. My grandson loved him so much he wants to learn and perform with bagpipes.

We hired Bill to play the bagpipes at our Mom's Interment Service. "Amazing Grace" was her favorite hymn, and Bill played it with grace, indeed. He also played other hymns and songs, both before and after the service, that made the occasion special and not quite so sad. He was very accommodating and respectful, and I can recommend him highly.

Bill entertained at my mom's 85th birthday party. The surprise on my mom's face when Bill played happy birthday to her made it all worthwhile. Our gathering was small and mostly family. We ranged in age from 8 months to 85 years and his music was enjoyed by all. Bill is a very talented musician who clearly loves what he does. We couldn't have picked a better way to celebrate our mom's birthday.

The Munro Family Bagpipers came through for an important event when we faced a last minute cancellation. The Bagpiper was of the highest quality, a gentleman and flexible to our last minute needs. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be using them again in the future.

We hired Bill for a small family party for my Aunt's 80th bday on St Paddy's Day...he was on time, personal and played beautifully!...We enjoyed every bit from the young to the old. We hope to invite him back again! THANKS BILL!

Bill played at my wedding ceremony on 9/30/17. He played for 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to provide atmosphere as the guests arrived. Unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy him as I wasn't at the church until right before the ceremony began but absolutely everyone said he was amazing. My husband and I highly recommend him. His communication prior to the event was timely and professional.

We had a five year memorial service for my mom at her grave site in upstate New York. The bagpiper set up early to play as friends and family arrived. He also played Amazing Grace as requested in between prayers from the Father and Irish Eyes also requested when people departed. What a great way to add to a ceremony. Great guy and great service from Gig Salad. Thank you all for the wonderful memories.
