I booked Xue for a wedding in September. She canceled a month before which has now left me searching for a replacement asap. The excuse was she confused the date of another brides wedding and apparently it then landed on my day. Deposit was made, but I had to issue a refund request on Gig Salad which left me responsible for the Gig Salad fee. Highly unprofessional

Response from Muse Event Musician:
Dear Christine,
I told you that the other client made a mistake. She initially told me 8/28. Then she realized it’s 9/28 when I double checked with her.
Also, I already found you a substitute from Stonybrook Doctor of Musical Arts Department who will be more than qualified to play for your wedding. You haven’t replied my message. If you want to find another violinist on your own, you still have almost two months to do so.
Thirdly, the correct way to cancel it is to communicate on the website, then I submit the cancellation request. You will get the refund from the website.
I will not leave my client alone. If I can’t find a substitute for you I wouldn’t have canceled.
Best wishes.
She is excellence performer, every one enjoy her music. Thank you so much

Annie’s performance of solo pop music was exactly what we wanted. She was so thoughtful in sending me samples of her playing requested songs. Truly amazing
