I am a bassist and keyboardist that is able and willing to play a variety of styles. Can provide small scale amplification for both instruments, but large gigs may need outside equipment. I have experience playing in jazz, rock, bluegrass, and Christian worship music, and am interested in playing any combination of styles, whether that be as a solo act (piano only) or as a part of a larger group.

Price Range: $50-$200, negotiable
Gig Length: 30 - 180 minutes
Languages: English
For potential audiences:
I am able to provide light, atmospheric music as a solo pianist in a variety of settings. I am flexible as to where I am placed at an event, and my gear is mobile should I need to change locations throughout an event. I am able to provide a set list for a given performance, and if given enough notice can provide requested songs. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to play any requested song on a gig, but will do what is possible based on my repertoire.
For potential bands:
I play both an electric and upright bass. I play a Yamaha BB300 electric, and can bring a 30 watt amp and my own equipment along with it with ease and without taking up unnecessary amounts of space.
My piano is a Casio 88, and has basic keyboard sounds, and I have a KC 110 amp to project. Additional equipment will be needed for large scale gigs.
Music student at Centre College
Play upright and electric bass in a variety of styles, able to learn a new style if necessary
Willing to join an existing group or put together a band for a gig
For sound purposes, small gigs can be covered by my own equipment, a 30 watt Fender bass amp, and my own 1/4" input cables, as well as my KC 110. However, if there is a sound system that is preferred and needs something other than the standard 1/4" input, I will need to be notified.
For jazz, I am influenced by music by Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus, and Count Basie in particular. I am also interested in modern jazz and newer acts like the Robert Glasper experiment, which is much different than other artists.
For worship music, MercyMe, TobyMac, and Chris Tomlin are all important to me.
For Rock music, I have grown up listening to classic rock, and my interest range from Queen to Black Sabbath, and anything less heavy to heavier in between.
Music Stand (if playing written music)
Cables (if for another's sound system)
Microphone (if using a mic for the upright bass)
