Alan Najarian from Boston Mass. Singer / Songwriter/ Producer, Set out on his journey to piece together his own band after more than a decade playing as a drummer in various local Boston bands some of which opened for national acts , The Go Go's , The Police and many more , Alan was part of the underground Boston Rock Scene. In 1991 Alan decided to break out on his own. As a Singer and Songwriter and found the musicians that would become NAJARIAN, Their dedication and faith in project propelled them to become one of the best headlining acts in Boston.

The Original Release was in 1996 and the band had toured for 7 years till 1998. Playing all major venues in and around New England building a solid and faithful following.

FOR THE RECORD : NAJARIAN Self-titled debut was critically acclaimed with favorable reviews and was regularly played on some Boston radio stations. Alan was able to get a copy of the record to Pete Ganbarg VP Arista Records who said “ This is one of the best self produced records I have ever heard” Pete wanted to sign the band and had brought it to Arista Records who at the time was deciding between two acts and who to put all there money and power behind. As it turns out Pete had called Alan and said Arista Records decided to go with the other act, which was the come back record for Santana and Rob Thomas from Match Box 20.
