My favorite moment - best (sometimes) gig was playing in a rotating restaurant (summer 2007) ... ..This 100 ft. diameter rotating platform, in Stamford Ct, atop The Marriot... ...The Floor would spin around once an hour (panoramic view of Long Island Sound - See NYC on a clear Evening)... ...Every table would slowly pass by me and with smiling faces of people - and we would socialize - and I would play instrumental serenades and songs for them.
I placed a Microphone on the soundboard of the piano (close miking) to create Fantastic sound effects -in this Doughnut shaped venue, (floor revolved around a center column creating a torus shaped dinner floor).
