Stand-up comedian out of New York city. I am a quick witted one-liner comedian who is silly and a little off beat.

The story of Nick Lamanna is a simple, yet complicated one. Born into a working-middle class family in rural Virginia in 1984, Lamanna was raised on a steady diet of split peas and apple sauce until the age of 14. Nick “sailed” through elementary and middle school, being held back only twice (second and seventh grades) due to his inability to read and/or write until the age of, you guessed it, 14. Upon arriving at James Wood High School, Nick overcame his literacy shortcomings and inability to process solid foods to earn a reputation as funny man, a ladies’ man, a man’s man, and a piano man. A shining star on the both the football and tennis teams, Nick became senior class president and brought many positive reforms to the school including lower tariffs, higher gross incomes, and pizza Fridays.
After high school, the comedy bug bit Lamanna square in the abdomen once he got to Old Dominion University. That bite came in the form of a brown recluse spider, nearly killing Lamanna, and with him, this website. But after his fight to stay alive, Lamanna began working clubs in the Virginia Beach area while at the same time hosting his own radio/TV show and maintaining an absolutely hilarious 1.6 grade point average. After bribing his way to a Bachelors degree in a subject Lamanna called “being awesome,” Nick decided to pursue his two passions concurrently…comedy and waiting tables at knock-off Italian restaurants with good breadsticks.
Back home in Winchester after graduation, Lamanna continued laying the foundation for his monthly self-produced comedy show at Sweet Caroline’s, while at the same time making all kinds of coin at the local Olive Garden. As time went on, Lamanna began touring up and down the east coast, including New York City (FORESHADOWING!). The big day came late in 2007, when Lamanna decided that Winchester could no longer contain his talent…it was time to move to the place they call the windy city…the big easy…gateway to the west…NEW YORK CITY! Well, Secaucus, NJ…but whatever. Since the move, Lamanna continues to work clubs all over the eastern seaboard, and is now regularly working clubs in the city, such as Broadway Comedy Club and Joe Franklin's. He is the proud son of John and Annie Lamanna.
