I began playing violin at age four through the Suzuki method. I have since played in chamber ensembles, string quartets, orchestras, bands, and duos. I enjoy playing classical music as well as fiddle and bluegrass. I know the basics of improvisation as well. I have played in many weddings, garden parties, and funerals over the years and love being a part of these events!
I can play inside or outside! I will bring my own music stand, but if it's a large party I may need a microphone to amplify my sound. I am happy to form part of a group of stringed instruments, or play with guitar players, flutists, pianists, and others. I'm well equipped to play duets or chamber music and sight read.
