I originally found NorCal Event Staffing on another site but wanted to share.
Great company to work with! I hired bartenders and wait staff for our company party. Second time we have used them. We will be using them again in a week or so. Mike, their office manager was great to work with. He even helped me out with other vendors.
Their staff was so professional and friendly. They showed up on time and got right to work dressing the tables and setting up the bar. I really didn't have to do anything once they were onsite. This is great because now I finnaly get to enjoy myself at office functions.

What a great service! We hired 2 bartenders and a wait staff team for my wedding/reception as our cater only does food drop offs. Mike their Event Coordinator was very easy to work with throughout the planning process. He wanted as many details as possible so when the day came he wouldn't have to play 20 questions while we're trying to get ready. And every time we had a question he was there for us. I really felt at ease that at least the food portion of our reception would go smoothly.
On the day of these guys came in so prepared. The staff arrived and jumped right into setup not wasting anytime. The servers set up all the tables beautifully. Not a single setting out of place. Service throughout the evening was awesome. I didn't expect that much attention as our dinner was buffet style. The bartenders also did a great job not letting line build up. They were friendly, quick and efficient. By the end of the night they had everything broken down and ready for the rental company pick up. Overall Mike and his team were wonderful. I'm looking forward to bringing them out again.

NorCal was easy to work with in setting up what we needed, which was just some service help for an open house in our home. Didn't try to talk us into more staff than we needed, got us a quote in a timely manner, and came through. Only hitch was an apparent mixup in our address that got the staffers here a little late, but once they were on the job, they were efficient and courteous. Would definitely recommend NorCal for an event like ours.

I found NorCal Event staffing on Yelp the evening before a major event that I was hosting the following morning for 200 dignitaries. At the very last minute, my event was in need of wait-staff, and after a few phone calls that resulted in "Sorry, we can't help you," I ended up on the phone with Mike at NorCal Staffing, who immediately took the approach of, "Let me figure out how we can make this happen."

And that, he did. All I had to do was tell Mike the particulars of my event and what I needed, and he literally "made it happen." All throughout our initial phone call, it was clear that he was going out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Mike was able to mobilize an entire team of 7 to arrive, set up, serve, clean up, and take down a VIP Breakfast event -- in about 12 hours! Not only did he find and provide staffing for my event, he showed up himself to manage the event, and made sure that I did not have to even THINK about what his team was doing during the event. This was priceless.

Also notable, was that Mike's team worked within a limited/challenging space (a TSA-secured airport terminal gate), providing piping and curtains so that the area looked clean and professional at all times.

Norcal Event Staffing, and especially Mike, met and exceeded every request and expectation my team had. I will certainly have them in mind for ANY future staffing needs, and recommend them without hesitation. I recommend this team for any event and any occasion where quality and performance is a must.

I hired NorCal Event Staffing for my wedding last week. They were nothing less than Amazing! Mike and his team were extremely attentive from start to finish. I met with Mike a few months earlier to get the ball rolling. He assured me he would be there every step of the way. And he was. Anytime I had a question he was there for me. Mike helped me with floor layouts, table diagrams, timelines, menus, decorations. I should of hired him as my actual Wedding Coordinator but I had already locked myself in with another women before I met Mike.
I couldn't believe how fast they worked. His team set up the ceremony more beautifully than i could of ever imagined. I left to take photos after the ceremony and they had transformed the ceremony to the reception in no time. It was incredible to see how fast they moved. The wait staff fed everyone quickly, they kept the room clean, were so friendly and attentive. My water glass was never empty. There was no clutter on the tables. It was like dining at a Five Star restaurant.
The bartenders were awesome. They made great drinks, had delightful personalities. It's like Mikes staff really wanted to be there and it wasn't just a job for them. Mike's DJ was incredible too. he had all the microphones for speeches and a crystal clear sound system. Then when dancing started, out came all the lasers and cool lights. It was like being a night club.
Overall it was an amazing experience. I really could not have done it all without Mike. He actually did more than the Wedding Coordinator I hired. I can't wait to have a reason to through a party. He will be the only company I call. Thank you so much for you and your teams hard work!!

Recently, I attended an event that was staffed by Nor Cal Event Staffing and I just had to come leave a great review. It is so hard to find friendly and efficient servers and bartenders but every staff member was excellent. Nor Cal deffinatly set the standards high for other staffing companies. When it's my turn for an event, this is who I will turn too!

My new wife and I hired Nor Cal Event Staffing to staff our wedding. We needed the whole package; the Dj, photographer, photo booths, caterers, servers, and bartenders. Theses guys were awesome. All my guests had a blast. And No one wanted to go home at the end of the night. The entire staff was very professional, looked sharp, hard working, outgoing, and very friendly. I will definatly use them in the future. Graet job guys!!!

I attended a wedding reception that was put on by Nor Cal Event Staffing, It was not an event for myself, however I still felt the need to come here and share my experience. Everything was perfect. The wait staff were polite, funny, considerate, and the hardest working group of men and women I had ever seen. They were running non stop the entire night and did it all with a smile on their face. Polite with the adults, and jokes for the tots. Not to mention the bartender was out of this world, amazing. I asked for a business card from one of the employees as I will be using them for my brothers 50th birthday party coming up. My hat is off to you Mike. Your staff and you put on a great reception. I hired NorCal to provide bartending services for a retirement party, but they did so much more! They did the shopping, created a great drink menu, did a great job setting up and cleaning up the bar area and most importantly made great drinks, were friendly to guests and helped with things they weren't even hired to do. Mike (one of the owners) was a huge help in us having a successful party! Would definitely hire them again!

These guys were great! I hired them to plan my wedding because I was just to busy to handle it all myself working nights. Mike was there 24 hours a day. He coordinated the whole evening with minimal direction from me. My fiancé and I told him what we wanted and he made it happen. Our service was beautiful. The reception was a blast! I don't think I really ever sat down. The DJ got everyone out of their seats and on the davce floor all night. The bartenders,servers, and cateres were fantastic, very professional, and a joy to be around. Thank you very much for making my wedding day dreams come true.

My best friend told me she was getting married and I knew I needed to throw her an over-the-top bachelorette party with 50 of our closest friends, the problem was I didn't have time to plan it. It got down to the point where I only had a week left, and Mike with Nor Cal Event Staffing saved me! We only met once for a short consultation, and he was able to understand everything I wanted. Mike took care of everything and I got to enjoy the whole party with the soon to be bride. Can't wait until the next bachelorette party, I will definitely hire them again.
