Oak City Jazz Collective is a jazz standards band in the Raleigh and surrounding areas available for all types of events. We can play light and elegant or get things swingin' with some hard bop and latin jazz depending on the venue! The band consists of saxophone, upright bass, and drums. We hired Oak City Jazz Collective for a Networking social event I was hosting for a conference. The players were very professional and talented! They were flexible to our set up and schedule. Their music elevated the event! Definitely would hire them again!
I needed what I thought would be upscale background jazz for an event at the Carolina Inn. The trio of sax, bass, and drums was so good that they became more than background music! The did an excellent job. Arrived on time, no hassle, great song selection, and they made the event fun. I definitely recommend them!

Did a great job entertaining guests at our wedding reception! Were professional, entertaining and accommodating. Would definitely recommend them for another gathering. Music was perfect! They even learned an out of genre song for the bride and groom's first dance.
This group was fabulous! We had them for a community event and they played outside and it was a bit warm and they were such good sports and the music was incredible! Also, this group was super easy to work with and followed email directions very well (which is always helpful to event organizers!)
