Oakboro is a North Carolina-based band specializing in jazz, blues, and pop music. They are a fun, engaging band with tons of experience performing at venues in the Southeast and beyond.

Oakboro plays jazz, pop, Latin and funk music for parties. We are great for any event, ranging from an elegant cocktail party to a backyard barbecue.
We work with wedding planners to provide great songs for wedding ceremonies, for example 'You Belong To Me' by Jo Stafford, or 'You Take My Breath Away' by Queen. We also offer MCing for events.
We bring our own microphone and PA system to our engagements. We are happy to provide a microphone for speeches and announcements.
We can play music from your playlist over our PA system when needed.
Oakboro is a music duo specializing in jazz, pop, Latin, and funk music. Rebecca Sklar sings and plays the guitar, and Doug Largent plays keyboard/organ.
The members of Oakboro bring years of experience performing all around the United States and beyond.
We provide everything we need to perform. We only need one power outlet and an area of about 6'x8' to set up our instruments. We prefer to arrive at the venue a couple of hours early to avoid loading in our instruments while guests are arriving.
