Pierson created the exact musical ambiance I was looking for when hosting our 250-person VIP event to open a new hospital. He was timely, polite, and professional. He read the room to know when to play instrumental piano jazz and when to kick it up a notch with vocals. After many executives, staff members, and guests left, Pierson graciously played song requests of those employees who stayed behind to clean up...long after his contractual obligation had ended. Pierson Keating was hired to provide music for my wife's surprise 60th birthday party . He did an amazing job . He played a variety of music and took requests from the guest. Primarily a pianist, Keating has been in love with the piano since the age of eight. During his formal education, he studied both classical and jazz piano, as well as composition, at West Virginia University and the University of Louisville. He put his time in as a professional pianist in the cities of Nashville, TN, Raleigh, NC, and Los Angeles, always active in virtually every form of piano performance, from upscale jazz to Dueling Pianos to cruise ships. Since March of 2021, he is now a resident of Austin, Texas, where he brings his distinct brand of consummate entertainment to elite events, weddings, and some of the finest restaurants and hotels in the city.
