Olde & in the Way Band

Olde & in the Way is a 4 piece band that primarily plays live music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s that we all love and enjoy. This was perhaps the greatest period ever for great song writers and for vocal bands. Songs about love, heartache, cars, women, men, even dogs and cats.... just fun stuff. We try to cover the songs in our own excellent vocal and musical style, with both acoustic and light electric instruments. We are careful to not be too loud, to be tasteful, and to strive for excellence in music. We have a large set list, with folk, jazz, blues, country, rock, and even Motown sets. We are entertaining and always try to engage the audience to participate in familiar songs. We can provide excellent entertainment for almost any event. You won't be disappointed.

Olde & in the Way lifted the name from a 70's bluegrass group that has been defunct for many years. We always loved the name and it's play on words. And it pretty much describes us.... we are all products of the 60's and 70's. We are all professional musicians with a long history of professional work. While we are muscians, we emphasis our vocal ability to create great harmony textures within the music. You won't be disappointed.

We have extensive PA equipment for just about any venue. We carefully choose the correct equipment for each performance, so as to have an appropriate sound level and coverage for the event.
