One Single Rose®️ is an award-winning author, poet and playwright, spoken word artist, singer,/songwriter actress and filmmaker. In 2021 she became the first poet to be filmed in Motown’s infamous Studio A. Her notable performances include the Floacist’s Flovertex and Sidewalk Festivals of the Performing Arts in Detroit, MI, Kistrech Poetry Festival in Kisii and Nairobi, Kenya, Piton International Film Festival in St. Lucia as well as touring Europe in 2012. She is currently a featured artist and songwriter with Defected Records and her poetry has found homes with various publishers such as Broadside-Lotus Press, two of the oldest African-American presses in the United States.
One Single Rose did such an amazing job performing at our event. She not only has a beautiful voice, but her work was amazing. She really set the tone. We were blessed to hear her work, just Amazing!!!

She Performed for my sister and her boyfriend. During this Pandemic its been a challenge to date, so I asked her to sing some love songs to spice things up for them. They both loved it!
