I've been a musician for most of my life. I've played in numerous bands of all different styles for a long time, and I finally decided to open up to the possibility of playing more gigs as a solo act. Through the process of looping, I use multiple instruments to build songs live from scratch. My music tends to be softer, slower, and melodic. The music seems to sit well for intimate settings, coffee shop gigs, dinner events, weddings, etc.

Open Your Eyes Small Bear is the solo project of Ryan Alsheimer; part musician, part marketer, part minister. Ryan lives in Oneonta NY and plays experimental indie rock.
I have everything I need for an event in a small room or event. If your event is outside or in a large room, I'll need a PA system provided that can push enough sound for the event. I bring all instruments and equipment needed with me, unless equipment is provided and talked about beforehand.
