Crystal Dawn is an Italian American soprano. She has recently appeared as Fiorilla in Il Turco in Italia with Amici Opera in Philadelphia, and as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with Clyde Opera in Glasgow. She also portrayed Gutrune and Wellgunde in Götterdämmerung as well as Nedda in Pagliacci with the New York Opera Forum. She has appeared in many productions with the Metro Lyric Opera Company of Asbury Park, New Jersey, under the baton of Maestro Anton Coppola, including Micaëla in Carmen and Flora in La Traviata. She also appeared in a New York Times critically acclaimed production of André Grétry’s Richard Cœur-de-Lion, as Colette, with the American Classical Orchestra in New York. Crystal earned her Master of Music at SUNY Purchase Conservatory, where she sang the roles of Frasquita in Carmen, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, and La Fée in Cendrillon.
