This african funk jazz group was formed in New York City where there are all types of people. The members of the Y.B.W. Project are very representative of this cultural mix. I am Japanese, our bass player Bruno Razafindrakoto is from Madagascar, and our drummer, Alec Menge is from America but his cultural background is French, German, Italian, and Scottish. Because of this cultural mix, we have a unique sound. Our hope is that through our music, we demonstrate the wonderful benefits of working together and to send out a musical prayer of peace for all people.
