Versatility is a big part of our appeal, and we deliver, no matter what type of event we play! Whether we perform as a duo, trio or band, our gigs range from Happy Hours to dances ,Concerts in the Park, small restaurant/bar venues and clubs, and private functions from birthdays to anniversaries and corporate events. Our newest band is "Zen & Tonic", a classic rock/R&B band playing hits from the 60s to current.
Our duo and trio repertoire covers all genres from the 50s through current hits - classic rock, pop, disco, funk, country and even jazz standards and easy listening. We truly have something for everyone!
We are also an interactive band, getting out among the audience for line dances, sing-alongs and just to make sure everyone is having a great time! We love what we do and it shows in every performance.
Take a guitar player who is so incredibly versatile, he can play anything from Eric Clapton to Santana to Johnny Cash, and an equally adept vocalist with the ability to cover the likes of Patsy Cline, Bonnie Raitt and Meghan Trainer, and you have the truly dynamic duo of Pam & Dave.
When we say "Versatility is only the beginning", we're not kidding!!! Pam & Dave can adapt to any situation and cover the most genres of any duo in the Valley. Whether you are hosting a laid back happy hour, a corporate party, or a full-on dance party, our vast repertoire can be tailored to your event. Formal to casual, oldies to modern. We also engage our audience, encouraging sing-alongs or line dances, getting out among the dancers and partying right along with you!
Since 1983, Pam & Dave have been making music throughout the Western United States. First, as members of the L. A. Bedrockers, a popular L. A. and Orange County band, then setting out in 1991 as a duo. We enjoyed a six -year run as the house band at the famous Wigwam Resort, and perform all over the Valley of the Sun, from Surprise to Gold Canyon.
Pam & Dave live in Chandler, AZ and teach music students when not performing. Dave holds a degree and certificate in audio production and Pam is pursuing her degree in music education. Their teenage daughter, Natalie, is also gifted musically and plays several instruments. When not playing or teaching music, you will find Pam & Dave cheering on the sidelines of one of Natalie's soccer games .
We utilize a state-of-the-art Bose PA system, which delivers superior sound no matter what the volume or size of the room. Dave performs on all of the instruments of our backing tracks, which he records in our home studio, and our arrangements are all unique! You will not hear these arrangements on "mail-order" backing tracks and we do not sell our tracks to other artists. We are proud of our one-of-a kind, professional sound. Pam uses a wireless mic, which enables her to engage with the audience.
Zen & Tonic uses a digital Presonic mixing board, Bose speakers and wireless mics, guitar and monitors.
We have limited lighting resources, however for a small venue we provide LED lights to enhance any area with little or no lighting.

This is a hard one to pin down, as everyone in this group has a different answer! Suffice to say, we are influenced by creative, talented musicians, regardless of their stature. Some of our favorite bands play in tiny clubs in the valley, or travel the world with various artists and shows. Seeing another musician and act thrive and doing what they love is inspiring, and, hopefully, we might even inspire other artists as well.
Stage area: at least 8' wide by 6' deep
Electrical outlets - at least two, preferably one on each side of stage.
If outdoors, a covered stage or canopy needed.
