As the frontman, guitarist and leading songwriter of the band The Lost & Nameless Orchestra, Patrick Conway has spent the last ten years touring all over the U.S. and playing every major folk festival and songwriter friendly venue in Texas and beyond. Highlights from his travels with the group include performances at the Americana Music Festival in Chicago, Kerrville Folk Festival, Old Settler’s Music Festival, Fischer Festival and The Wildflower Festival in Dallas. Currently, Patrick is offering his voice and talents for corporate events, celebration of life gatherings, wedding ceremonies and private house concerts. These performances are as a solo artist or as a duo or trio.
Patrick did a fantastic job playing for our engagement!
He was on time, had good communication through the scheduling process, very professional. played and sang the song I had requested perfectly. Highly recommend!
We hired Patrick to perform at a Celebration of Life for a dear friend who passed away recently. From our first interactions, I was impressed by his sincere interest in selecting music that would reflect the personality of our loved one. Throughout the planning phase he was a consummate professional, guiding us through the process with attention to detail and even politely nudging us for any additional songs that we might want to hear so that he would have adequate time to prepare for a perfect event.
The performance itself was amazing. Patrick is an excellent guitar player with a beautiful voice and he performed both covers and originals impeccably - even the six new songs that were requests that he was able to learn in the two weeks leading up to the event.
As good as the music and singing was, almost as impressive was his attentiveness and self-awareness. He seemed to understand exactly what the guests needed at each moment during the evening. This was an emotional time and he provided the perfect soundtrack - pulling back when the guests needed to talk/visit and pushing along if the energy got too low. Absolutely flawless execution.
Patrick was the perfect choice for an event like this and while I have no doubt that he would be equally impressive during a "normal" more upbeat event, if you find yourself needing a thoughtful, talented, emotionally comforting singing guitarist, I can wholeheartedly recommend Patrick Conway without hesitation.
