Overview
Based in Mt. Shasta and available throughout Far Northern California, Paula Reynolds offers a unique show by performing using live looping - a technique involving recording sections of the song live, playing these back in a loop, and soloing or singing over the layers. Instruments include six and 12-string guitars, electric guitar, bass, flute, saxophone, and backup vocals with up to 7-part harmony.
Shows work well in intimate venues, farmers markets, art shows, and private parties.
Genres include classic and modern rock, pop, country, r&b, bluegrass, and jazz.

The Lake Shastina Community Foundation has booked Paula and the Chick Band for several events. We have had nothing but positive comments from the people attending the events and we have found Paula and the members of the bands very easy to work with and also very helpful in helping us publicise the events. We highly recommend Paula and her band.

Vocalist/guitarist Paula Reynolds is classically trained with a background in world music, as well as rock, pop, blues, and more. Her vocals are reminiscent of Grace Potter's powerhouse sound, mixed with Sheryl Crow sensitivity.
