Peter Mathers was a pleasure to work with for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. From the start, communication was seamless, and he made planning the event stress-free through Gig Salad. He expertly handled the acoustic setup, ensuring the music was perfectly suited to the venue. His performance was exceptional, and our guests were thoroughly impressed by his talent and song selection. I highly recommend Peter for any event—he truly made our celebration unforgettable!

Peter Mathers has performed for my family on 2 separate occasions. His calm and professional disposition allow for a smooth delivery of service which results in an exclusive showcase of his talent. Instead of choosing the music for the event, I left the option up to Peter and the instrumental medleys were truly enjoyed by everyone. It is amazing how someone can play for over 2 hours straight and keep the sound of the music at a comfortable and engaging level. I also appreciate the reassurance Peter gave me when he reached out to me 2 days before the event just to confirm the time of arrival and other minor details. At the end of his performance, Peter is very mindful and will not leave for his next event until he requests and receives feedback. When the next milestone is ready to be celebrated, I will certainly look forward to having the warm personality and genuine talent of Peter Mathers be a special part, once again! I highly recommend this natural and distinguished virtuoso!

Peter perfectly created the right ambiance with classical guitar playing for our intimate event in Feb. 2024, which brought together a number of invitees that did not know each other. His expertise was evident in his very 'clean' sounds and level of difficulty characterizing his broad portfolio - definitely creating a sensory layer to the event that relaxed our invitees greatly. With very, very clean guitar sounds - we did not hear any stretching sounds along the strings as his fingers played, and he effortlessly moved from piece to piece. Also, Peter included complex Spanish guitar compositions. My only regret was that my husband and I were busy trying to speak with all the guests and also facilitating their engagement with each other, so that we did not think about stopping the function to publicly give Peter our thanks and facilitate a round of applause. Peter's high-calibre ability was excellent for our private event bringing together invitees that did not know each other. His music was critical for creating a warm, welcoming ambiance. His technique is totally clean avoiding the often-heard sliding sound along the strings. He read the attendee style and played a broad portfolio of diverse compositions totally appropriate for the event. My only regret was that we were too busy talking with our guests to properly stop all discussions to publicly bring attention to Peter in thanks.
