Phil Hil Trio

The Phil Hill Trio is Sam Cady on piano, Bill Langlois on bass and Phil Hill on vocals and guitar. Quite often you can see them playing as a quartet with renowned drummers such as Ron Marabuto (seen in the video below) and Mark Lee. The band plays jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, such as Pennies from Heaven, On the Sunny Side of the Street, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, Route 66, The Girl from Ipanema, On a Slowboat to China, Stardust, Ain’t Misbehavin’ and many more. The band’s style most closely resembles the Nat King Cole Trio, which was popular in the 1940s post-swing/pre-bebop era. The Phil Hill Trio is available for your next event.
