Pianist for social events

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Olga Sklyanskaya started playing the piano at the age of six. She received Performance Certificate, Master of Music and Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from DePaul University School of Music in Chicago where she studied with Eteri Andjaparidze and Dmitry Paperno.

In addition to maintaining a private teaching studio, Ms. Sklyanskaya works as a vocal accompanist at the Bienen School of Music, Northwestern University and serves as an organist at the St. Paul's Evangelical Covenant Church, Franklin Park, IL. She is enjoying performing as a solo and collaborative pianist in Chicago area and has been featured in 2011 on the WFMT series From the Mayne Stage  in a recital with bass-baritone David Govertsen. Her recent performances include solo recitals at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, (Chicago, IL), Harold Washington Library (Chicago, IL), Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, (Milwaukee, WI) and at the Boulder Piano Gallery, (Boulder, CO).
