We wanted the music to be a special part of our wedding and thanks to Sarah it was!
Sarah played at our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and wedding dinner. She also attended and played at the wedding rehearsal.
We reviewed a number of different pianists before selecting Sarah. Sarah was very helpful during this process and was very quick to answer all of our questions. She even recorded herself playing several pieces that we wanted at our wedding before we selected her so that we could hear her play several of ‘our’ songs.
Once we selected Sarah, she provided a written proposal of the services she would be providing and was very clear on how much her services were going to cost and when payment would be required.
We met with Sarah several months in advance of our wedding to talk over some of the details of our event and to have Sarah play though some of the music we had selected. During this meeting, Sarah provided her ideas and input and was very helpful in advising us on what would work and what wouldn’t. She also helped us rearrange the processional music to suit our tastes.
We had a number of specific arrangements of songs that we wanted to have played. Sarah took the time to learn these new songs/arrangements and even went as far as listening to YouTube videos of people playing certain arrangements of some of the songs we wanted. Sarah obtained the sheet music for a number of pieces she didn’t currently have.
Sarah beautifully performed the pieces at our wedding, wedding dinner, and rehearsal dinner. Sarah is a very talented and accomplished pianist. She really set the mood at the wedding dinner. We were very happy with how it all turned out.
Email and phone communication with Sarah was excellent throughout. Emails and phone calls were quickly returned. Sarah was on time or early to all of the meetings and the events and was always prepared and organized.
We always felt like Sarah was on our team and wanted the event to be successful. She worked hard to accommodate our requests and make the event turn out the way we wanted it to.
We dealt with many different vendors throughout the wedding planning process and Sarah was certainly one of the easiest to deal with. She made the process fun and enjoyable.
Thanks again Sarah!
Sarah played with perfection for our Board of Directors holiday dinner. Equally comfortable performing classical as well as 70's and Christmas music, Sarah seemingly effortlessly entertained to a well pleased audience for more than two and a half hours. Sarah has rich and abundant talent. We would definitely choose her again for an event requiring top of the line piano entertainment.
Sarah Kang's is well worth the reasonable fee to add deep meaning to our son and daughter-in-laws special day. We would highly recommend her for any wedding ceremony.
I had the privilege of attending a concert by Sarah Kang. She is an amazing and talented pianist who flawlessly performs her beautifully arranged music. The concert I attended featured classical selections. Sarah's talent and artistry are evident in her performance and interpretation of these classical pieces. Any lover of classical music would enjoy Sarah Kang!
I asked Sarah to play the prelude on the piano for my wedding. I told her in general the type of music I wanted her to play, and she made an excellent selection of pieces suitable for a formal event. I was very impressed with her style of playing and her sensitivity to the pieces. I received many compliments for weeks following our wedding in regard to Sarah's performance. If I ever need a pianist for another event, I would definitely see if Sarah would be available.
I hired Sarah Kang to play the piano at my wedding. She did a fantastic job of picking music that complimented my wedding and made my day feel complete. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for something extra special by which to remember their day.
