I’m a classically trained violinist who also plays a wide range of genres and styles within contemporary music, though I gravitate more towards folk and country styles. I have been studying music since I was about ten years old and have various types of musical training since. I currently study contemporary music and business at Shenandoah Conservatory, as well as continuing my studies in classical violin performance.
Ms Anderson performed at my daughter's wedding. She interacted with the Bride/Groom to create their dream music selections for the wedding. Piper then performed flawlessly for the wedding party and guests. She is destined for a beautiful future because of her gift of music. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her any on any event. Well done, Piper!!

I'm experienced with weddings and quieter events, but I'm willing to play other types of events as well. I can guarantee excellent communication throughout the planning process of the event, and I will do all I can to make sure the event will go as imagined.
I’m a freelance violinist in the NOVA and DMV area, along with Winchester, VA and its surrounding towns. I arrange music as well as write music of my own. I knew I wanted to be a violinist since I was about four years old, though I didn’t start playing until it was offered as a class in school my fourth grade year. Around then, I started being interested in writing music and started messing around with notation and recording softwares. Since then, I have had private lessons with a couple different teachers, gone to various orchestra summer camps, played in youth orchestras, as well as consistently being in the top orchestras at the middle and high school levels. I have won a handful of awards for music, including the performing arts department medal for my participation and dedication to all performing arts disciplines (Orchestra, Choir, Band, and Theatre) at my high school. I currently study at Shenandoah University Conservatory in Winchester, VA, as part of their Contemporary Musicianship and Entrepreneur Development (CMED) program, as well as a member of the school's Symphony Orchestra.
Depending on event location, I might need to have a direct power source for speakers in order to access backing tracks (if needed for that event). If there are any specific songs or pieces in mind for me to play, please provide links or copies to the sheet music, if able. If there isn’t a way to provide the sheet music, please be flexible knowing there’s a possibility I won’t be able to play it for your event, but I will still try my best to find a way to play it.

I started playing violin because I saw a concert on PBS of the German rock/classical violinist, David Garrett, when I was four years old. Once I started playing violin, the electric violinist, Lindsey Stirling, started getting more visibility, encouraging me even more to pursue both classical and contemporary music. Recently, I've been gravitating more towards folk and country styles of music, feeling more comfortable with fiddle music. In general, I have grown up listening and playing music from various decades within contemporary music, some of my favorites to play are The Chicks, The Beatles, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Queen, Green Day, Elton John, and Alanis Morrisette. Along those lines, I also have a fairly well versed repertoire of Disney and musical theatre songs, as well as film music.
