I organized a small gathering of family members for a family member's funeral. I reached out to John and we exchanged ideas on how we could incorporated the playing of the bagpipes into the occasion. John has performed bagpiping for several funeral services at my cemetery. He has always been here ahead of time and has been adaptable to the family's wishes. He has learned new songs upon request and is always ready to take direction from the funeral director to best suit the family's needs. He is my first choice whenever I have need of a bagpipe player.

With 15 years playing with bands and doing solo events, my repertoire of tunes is good. Depending on the type of event, my play list may contain slow airs, marches, jigs and reels. You can request tunes, or just let me play what feels right for the occasion. If a tune you like is not currently known to me, with enough advance notice, I can learn it.
