45-minute (more or less) interactive discussion and true confessions of an independent book publisher, known bibliophile, and the evolution of Texas Book Publishers Association.
We, as a race of hominids, have been around for over 6 million years. Roaming around this planet like feral hogs, not doing much more than rooting around for grubs. The modern form of humans evolved about 200,000 years ago. About 65,000 years ago, something remarkable happened. We were compelled to express our thoughts to one another. Civilization is only about 6,000 years old. The first written word(s) was developed in Mesopotamia - ancient Sumer around 3200 BC.

Dino is a very human being with above average intelligence sporting a dry sense of humor with deep undertones that may be heard by passing narwhales. He is considered stylish, technologically fit, socially, and politically savvy. His writing is fair, he travels well, and his computing and internet skills are outstanding.
He earned a Public Health degree from the United State Air Force Community College in Maryland University. While serving in the Air Force’s Public Health Services for nine years overseeing small environmental health agencies around the globe, conducting injury investigations, education classes, and general public health and safety inspections until shortly after Gulf War I. After which he found himself with a renewed sense of earning a living without being shot.
Once on the outside of the military, Dino Price landed a job as an editor for the Oklahoma Small Business News, with a respectable 26,000 print run alongside a weekly radio show about business and politics. Shortly afterward he opened a public relation/advertising & marketing company called BALLYHOO.
He has authored and published hundreds of websites and portals, crafted innumerable brochures, flyers, pamphlets, and educational materials, and have written and/or edited thousands of articles and editorials and developed hundreds of lesson plans and then delivered the same speeches and lectures from How To Decontaminate a Patient to How To Publish A Book.
Books, or more precisely the written word, have always been his passion. Currently, he publishes historical books and biographies as a Texas independent book publishing company named John M. Hardy Publishing. He has been known to hire out his editing, publishing, and book marketing skills which tends to foster a mentor/mentee relationship with the author, for which he is well suited.
Favorite song of all time, “Words,” by the BeeGees which usually plays in his head while writing.
