We are a cover/original band for Christian and non Christian events. Including multiple day retreats to a 30 song set for a full stage live show, this young band has done it all. When they start to play, even other musicians stop to listen and are amazed by their talents. They can get any crowd warmed up or can be the background band for an entire show. You can have complete faith that this band will come prepared for whatever music you need performed, with both a concert and worship feel. Pursuing JC is amazingly talented! I don't think there was a single person who didn't gush over how wonderful they are. I hope that the kids had as much fun performing as we did having them.
I hope we can work together in the future. I'd better hurry up and plan a musical event before they are signed or off to Harvard, whichever comes first.

Pursuing JC's live show is built for all audiences. It will leave young audiences dancing in the isles, with transitions that will compels hands to be raised through emotional and compelling worship songs. HISTORY: The Pursuing JC band first started at Shelter Rock Church back in 2011 and began as a youth group band with just one song. However, once heard they quickly found that their level of playing ability gained them much deserved attention and they were soon invited to churches and festivals throughout Long Island and eventually through the East Coast.
Since 2013, they performed over 300 shows. The band has a reputation of producing an amazing technical sound and at only 16 years of age you won’t want to miss the fast paced drumming of Corinne DeRosa, who’s pink drum sticks are always well in hand. Corinne won a national drumming competition at the age of 13, competing against drummers from around the country, between the ages of 13-19.
With a name like Pursuing JC it is clear that this is a Christian band but their hope is to cross the boundaries. “I think what I want them to take away especially non-Christians is that it’s true that we are a church derived band but there are songs even on regular radio that have messages of hope and faith. For all of us, we believe that no matter what is happening in your life heaven has a plan for all of us.”
GOALS: “There is a lot of talk about our generation and how we are a soiled. I don’t want people to leave just knowing our music or performance ability but rather to take away hope for our generation and to maybe rethink it. Not that we are better or different but I want them to realize that maybe they have misjudged us.”
Pursuing JC travels with full staging and lights and can adapt to any stage layout or need.
