7 veteran Boise musicians will bring all the dance-alicious 70's, 80's, and 90's cover tunes you love. We also play more current tunes and oldies. Our calling card is 15 minute super-fun medleys of tunes from a given decade: 70's, 80's, or 90's. All dance-able and all incredibly popular!
Push2Play recently played at one of my best friend’s wedding receptions in the mountains in of McCall, Idaho. To say they were amazing would be an understatement! The dance floor was full all night long as all of the guests danced and sang along to so many great classics. The band was so engaging with the crowd and kept the party going for hours! We would recommend them over and over again!
The band really made our wedding reception memorable. Their ability to play a wide range of music was impressive. While a smaller space for 7 members they adjusted their volume to adapt to the environment and created an enjoyable time for our gusts and us. Their songs promoted a variety of dancing opportunities for our guest.
Several guest commented directly to me during the event about an interest in the band playing at events the were considering, from company functions to high school graduations.

We put on an outside evening dance for 360 youth ages 14-18 and this band did the impossible, these kids were having so much fun and they were all dancing! It was fun to watch the kids singing to the songs from current hits down to the 80's. These guys sounded SO GOOD, if you closed your eyes you'd think it was the original artists. They take great pride in making sure to engage the crowd and their energy for 2 1/2 solid hours of non-stop amazing music was just incredible. We were planning to have them again before the night was even over. I would HIGHLY recommend Push2Play.
Push2Play played my wife’s 80’s themed 40th birthday party, and they exceeded all expectations. They were fun, engaging, and energetic. They kept everyone on the dance floor until the party was over. Still after the party, everyone keeps talking about how great the band was. Doorman at the event had to actually turn random people away that wanted into the party because they could hear the rockin’ party the band was putting on. We would instantly hire Push2Play for any future event. Push2Play was terrific and made our event spectacular.
Push2Play played at our Adult Night event at the Discovery Center of Idaho and they were a HIT for our 900+ guests! We have live bands at every summer Adult Night, but we've never had people actually dancing outside to the music. Push2Play was engaging the guests and had people on their feet dancing and singing along. Even one of our directors was out there dancing which was so fun to see. The band was also having tons of fun themselves, and were so easy to work with. We'd definitely have them again!

Audiences love our decade medleys designed to get crowds on their feet. Our lead singer Cory loves to get out into the crowd, while singing, to get everyone moving. Cory, the band's lead singer has a fabulous voice, but also with the charm of a showman. His witty banter between songs will keep the audience laughing and smiling. We bring all our own equipment including main speakers if not provided. We also have dance lights and a smoke machine. We show up on time, know how to do sound checks quickly (easy to do when you've been together for so long) and are very flexible in terms of the venue.
We are a group of musicians that have been playing together for 9+ years. You won't find a more talented and professional group of folks anywhere. Compare our rates to other local bands! You'll get the same professional live sound for much less. We can cover blues, country, rock, soul and even bluegrass. Slow tunes, fast tune, tunes of all decades.
What sets us apart from other bands (aside from cost)? Our 15 minute long decade tribute medleys! Love the 80's? We'll bring 15 minutes of song after song of great 80's tunes and every one will make you want to get up and dance. Raised in the 90's? We've got you covered with another great medley. This stuff is audience gold and a huge crowd pleaser.

The band can provide 2 15" main speakers if needed, or we can plug into the venue's system. We have a smoke machine and multiple dance light system to bring a party feel to any occasion if requested. We monitor our own sound if needed or can tie into venue's board. Each band member has their own monitor mix and can adjust from their Iphones or Ipad's put less strain on the sound engineers at the venue.
