With Radio Joe and the Jazzbos I sing Vintage Swing, American Songbook, Blues and Originals. From Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Joe Williams, Julie London, Diana Krall and more! We play at supper clubs, jazz venues, festivals and brewpubs. Vibraphone, Guitar and Vocals, Acoustic Bass and Drums provides a vintage sound big enough for the outside venues and quiet enough for intimate lounge gigs.
As a solo performer I sing 70's pop soul music. Al Green, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Sam Cooke, Curtis Mayfield, Songs you've heard on the radio in the 70's. I play guitar and use a harmonizer and a looper. No computer tracks. Licensed busker for the Minneapolis Parks.

We do an upbeat show that resonates with dancers, Jazz lovers and the senior citizen community. We can alter the show to include pop or rock material where needed and requests are always welcome. We come fully prepared with a full song list and show and waste no time in between songs. Whether entertaining with a joke or an impersonation or delivering a romantic song, we give our all and do our best to insure that everyone has a fun and memorable time at our shows.
Radio Joe and the Jazzbos are a four piece swing band formed in 2011. We carry a full sound system, lights and a stage set to recreate the look of a jazz lounge. We have 3 shows that play to different audiences. #1 ,We play swing dances and include other dance styles for club dances and classes. #2, We do a lounge style show for supper clubs and listening rooms including old radio hits form the 30's through the $50's and #3, We do an all original music show written in the swing jazz style. We play jazz memories like Frank, Dino and Sammy, Big Joe Turner and Billie Holiday. We play old swing music by people who are still alive! Diana Krall, John Pizzarelli, and Tony Bennett. We even do an occasional tango, cha cha, bossa nova, calypso or waltz. But it’s all a front, a showbiz ruse so we can sneak in a heartfelt love song that makes the emotional connection between the singer and the audience. We’ll play concerts, weddings, bars, anyplace we can sing a love song to the people.
“Radio” Joe Demko is the lead singer, guitarist and founder of the group. Joe has shared the stage with Bonnie Raitt and Dr. John during his tenure with the Wolverines Classic Jazz Orchestra and Willie and the Bees.
Bruce “The Maestro” Wintervold plays the Vibraphone on the gig. A first call sideman, he doubles on drums and percussion. He’s also a smashing tennis player. As musical collaborator, Bruce helps round out the songs list with bossa novas, cha chas, tango and calypso influences.
Anthony “Tony” Guscetti plays the drums in the group, while holding down a position as teacher for the Minneapolis Public School system. He is a veteran gig drummer with many bands to his credit. His newest hobby is restoring a classic turn of the century home in North Minneapolis.
Keith “I stole him from another band” Boyles is a well known jazz and blues bass player in the Twin Cities. He plays with so many bands that I cannot go into detail here without missing an important name dropping opportunity. Keith swings the foundation with his excellent skills on the Big Bass.
We carry our own sound system and lights which will cover shows of 500 people. A stage set is available for theater and community shows. The musician's are all union members of AFM Local 30-73. For venues with sound and lighting available, we have a stage plot and input list available.
