I've had the pleasure of watching the performers of the Ray Howard Band several times. Each time they thrill me more. The lead singer, Ray, hits those high notes and I just love it!! The back-up singers are beautiful, soulful and graceful. The musician are a perfect match for them. I am looking forward to the next event I'll be able to attend.
The group performed at my husband's retirement party and by the way the heads were bobbing I knew they were a hit. Our guests really enjoyed the music and I will book them again!
I saw the Ray Howard Band two years in a row; September 2015 and 2016, at the Students Without Mothers Charity Event. They were phenomenal! I love their energy and engagement with the audience. The music was energetic, rhythmic, and sounded very professional. People were singing and dancing and having a great time during the show, each year. The second year I heard several people (including myself) were excited to have the Ray Howard Band for the entertainment.

I've had the pleasure of seeing The Ray Howard band perform on multiple occasions. Their live performance is so dynamic and the wide range of of their repertoire is remarkable!! Every time I see them perform I find myself singing and dancing along with them for the whole set. I can't remember the last time I've witnessed a live band with such energy and class. The Ray Howard Band is definitely a Class Act!!!
We hired Ray Howard and a Touch of Elegance to perform at my mother's birthday celebration. He did not disappoint! He is a true professional He arrived on time. He had the perfect song selections for a mixed audience of all ages. Ray and his team were very friendly, courteous and really down to earth. Bio & Info
A native of Chicago, IL; Ray Howard formed the band in the summer of 2013, in Atlanta, GA, after releasing his debut CD “Love Notes." He has toured with several R&B groups in which he shared the stage with Gerald Levert, Lo-Key, Sounds of Blackness and Men at Large. Collectively, The Ray Howard Band members/vocalists have toured with well known top R&B and Contemporary vocalists & groups, appeared in recent movies, and starred in stage plays. RHB can put you in the mood of love and grooving, while at the same time make you move and dance to the beat. Their timeless old school ballads and reminiscent sounds take you back in time to the "good old days." Currently, The Band performs regularly at dinner lounges in the downtown areas as well as Corporate Events, Weddings, Festivals, and Private Events throughout the U.S.

The Ray Howard band consists of:
4 piece Instrument Band(can be flexible)
3-Singers(Lead, Background-lead Vocal, Background Vocal)
Normally each set we perform is 30-45 minutes long. We are open to multiple sets each night and times are negotiable.
We have our own Full PA System with Board & Speakers & Stage backdrop&Stage lighting
Standard is to arrive early for Equipment & Band set up
Perform Motown Sets, as well as old School R&B, Party/Dance, Etc.
Coordinate attire with venue or venue special events or themes from dress casual, semi-formal, & formal
Our standard is to have good & consistent communication to make sure everything is needed for the event
RHB performs regularly at the Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint, Atlanta, GA, & The Velvet .previously performed at the 2014 Sweet Auburn Fest & Acknowledgement Dinner, Chicago Fest-Chicago, IL, Annual Jazz –On-The-Lawn, Private Events, Charity Events, Wedding Ceremonies & Wedding Receptions, Corporate Events, & Etc.
We also travel to other states, cities, etc..we have performed to Chicago, IL, NC, FL and many of the surrounding states. Many of the members have performed on a number of cruises with well-known artists & groups
Our song-list selection is versatile from R&B, Motown, Jazz, Soft Rock, Dance, Disco, & Country; We also add to the song-list depending on the venue and upon request.
I have my own microphones and PA System.
