Ray Reed & Gator Band (formerly the South Side Blues Kings) play an excellent mix of upbeat blues and rock for events including private parties & public venues. The band encourages audience participation & sing-along is very common at one of our gigs.
Level of professionalism is high -- the musicians have worked with name stars like George Thorogood, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Canned Heat, Chuck Berry, Keb Mo, Pinetop Perkins and others. While focused in North & Central Texas, the musicians have played all over the US, England and Ireland at parties, bars, clubs, casinos, as well as blues and rock festivals.

Our musicians have played internationally and nationally including gigs with international stars of the rock and blues world.
We are professional---always on time, always well prepared, and no surprises. We inquire about the event a dress appropriately. We do require a signed contract and a 25% deposit for us to commit to a date.
