Real Live Actual Bellydance specializes in American Cabaret and Egyptian style belly dance. They are available as a trio, duet or solo for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, themed parties, festivals and other social events. With authentic Egyptian costuming, and Real Live Actual Bellydance moves, they will be sure to mesmerize. Prop specialties include veil, sword, zils, candle, shamadan, candle tray, and drum.

Price Range: $225-$2000
Gig Length: 10 - 60 minutes
Romana and Celestina can be booked as a solo or duet. Expect a phone call regarding gig details, including whether we are a surprise for your function, as well as what props will be appropriate for the dancing area. If the function is a birthday party, we like to have a description or tell about who the birthday person is (bright red shirt.) We arrive either in costume or partly in costume and usually stay out of sight until our performance. Children always welcome at our performances, and they usually like to dance with us!

Celestina and Romana specialize in American Cabaret and Egyptian style belly dance. They are available as a duet or solo for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, themed parties, festivals and other social events.
Prop specialties include veil, sword, zils, candle, shamadan and drum.
Celestina and Romana teach workshops in the region including Schoolhouse Raqs in Ohio. They have trained under international stars such as Delilah, Rachel Brice and Sadie.
We have the capability to provide our own sound system, however if you have a boombox or mp3 player in your home, we can also use that. We usually bring recorded music in mp3 format and CD. Live drumming is available on request.
Regarding our props, we will need to know if there are lighting fixtures or uneven surfaces we will need to negotiate with our props, such as our swords or veils.
If you have family members who are sensitive to sound, and our finger cymbals may bother them, please let us know and we will omit them from the act.
No animals allowed in dancing area (for safety reasons for our furry friends!) during performance.
We're happy to pose for photo ops after the performance.

Celestina is a master of American Cabaret Belly Dance descended from dancers such as her teacher, Delilah, and other classic cabaret and Turkish style dancers like Eva Cernik, Ruby, Jillina and Atlantis.
Romana's major influences outside of Cabaret include many fusion dancers and musicians such as Zoe Jakes and Beats Antique, her teacher Rachel Brice, Sadie, Mardi Love and musicians John Bilezikjian, Karim Nagi, Hossam Ramzy and Setrak Sarkissian.
