My name is Reeve & I'm a singer/songwriter/guitarist from NC. I've been performing on stages my whole life, sung at countless wedding ceremonies, corporate parties, & private events. I have been blessed to make a living writing & performing music & I thank God every day that I get to live out my dream. I can accommodate pretty much any type of music you are looking for. Okay, not any - I'm not a good rapper & I can't scream heavy metals songs & although I do love klezmer music, I'm most likely not a great fit for a Bar Mitzvah. My voice has been described as a love child of Sheryl Crow, Norah Jones, and Adele. I am willing to travel anywhere as long as the travel expenses are taken care of.
Reeve Coobs is truly gifted. Her sound is powerful and sultry. Our small group got to be part of her worship experience. Ben Salem Presbyterian Church loves her.She gets ★★★★★.

ORIGINAL SET // Reeve writes hauntingly beautiful songs about love, loss, and late nights. She is best known for her voice, which is "stop you in your tracks" good, but her songs can stand on their own - she is definitely not just another pretty voice! Her talent paired with her witty sense of humor will leave you feeling refreshed and inspired. Her original set can be up to 2 hours long.
RECEPTIONS, CORPORATE EVENTS, PRIVATE PARTIES // Reeve blends a mix of contemporary hits, classic rock, and standards for an extremely enjoyable evening of music. Whether it is background music during a dinner or entertaining a room full of listening ears no one is ever disappointed. She always wows audiences with her powerful yet still angelic voice. If the event requires more than two hours of music then Reeve will be accompanied by either Jason, her keyboardist or her full band - your choice. Here are some fan favorites...
Oh Darling (The Beatles)
Angel From Montgomery (John Prine)
Fever (Blackwell)
Summertime (Gershwin)
Love Throws a Line (Patty Griffin)
Make You Feel My Love (Dylan)
I Can't Make You Love Me (Raitt)
Turn Me On (Norah Jones)
All My Loving (The Beatles)
Someone Like You (Adele)
WEDDINGS // Reeve can sing pretty much anything so she's a perfect choice for wedding ceremonies. She already has a great list of wedding favorites or she will happily learn "your" song for your special day. She can accompany herself on guitar on most songs or if you are looking for a piano instead she can bring her keyboardist. Occasionally a song requested will require a separate guitar or piano player.
If you are looking for specific songs to be sung during your wedding ceremony or event Reeve is happy to learn it. She mostly sings either pop, jazz, blues, folk, or rock but is willing to listen to your ideas if what you are looking for doesn't fit into one of those categories.
WORSHIP LEADING// Reeve is also available for leading worship at events, conferences, retreats, churches, and weddings. Her focus for worship is mainly music and not much speaking. She will include some scripture and some speaking but it mostly music. This is not a "show-y" experience but an intimate and worship-filled experience.

Reeve Coobs is a singer-songwriter from the Charlotte, NC area. She has been crafting songs now for over 15 years. She spent many years touring up and down the south east with the all-gal band, The Near Misses. Then decided to take a break from her career and spent about six years teaching music to children and their families. During both her time with "The Misses" and teaching she slowly chipping away at a solo record. Nine years later, What Love is All About was released, finally giving her many fans what they had waited so patiently for. Reeve's voice is "stop you in your tracks" good and her songs linger in your heart and to top it all off she's pretty handy with a guitar too.
WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING...
“Reeve Coobs has a vocal style that can be as easygoing as a comfortable chair one moment and as powerful as a tornado the next. She knows exactly how to express her thoughts and apply the perfect tone to give the words as much meaning as possible.”
- Jeff Hahne, Creative Loafing Charlotte
"North Carolina's Reeve Coobs has a soulful vocal like no other; understated but also strong and forceful. That's not the star of the show though, oh no; Coobs is a magnificent songwriter, arguably the best we've come across so far on Reverbnation. Lead song "Stranger" and it's unbelievably good hook stands testament and will have Coobs competitors quaking in their boots."
- Tiff Daniels, Drunken Werewolf Magazine (Dec 2013)
"Reeve combines the vocal qualities of pop singers like Colbie Caillat and Celine Dion and infuses that sweet-but-soulful energy into folk rock songs that amalgamate the styles of artists like John Mayer and Edwin McCain. The resulting tunes display a songwriting prowess and impeccable vocal control unmatched by any unsigned singer/songwriter I’ve ever seen."
- Amanda Caines, Creative Loafing Charlotte Vibes Music Blog
"Having heard Reeve Coobs perform a couple of times in the past it has mostly been as part of a group of singers or as backup vocals with gogoPilot. Tonight’s solo gig as opener for gogoPilot was a performance which will not soon be forgotten. Reeve’s first couple of tunes held the “genie” in check with muted and tempered vocals. Then something transformational happened! Reeve let the genie out of the bottle and showed a powerful vocal ability with range, depth and emotion unlike anything I’ve heard her let loose in the past. As she showered the audience with dominant dynamic vocals, it was truly an OMG moment. This was not lost on the full house at the Evening Muse either as the emotions of the audience were aroused and busting at the seams before the song was over and the crowd let loose as the song came to a close! A couple of songs later, Reeve once again impressed the audience with a powerful, confident, rangeful, crisp, melodic vocal demonstration highlighting her capabilities as a vocal soloist!"
