Born and raised in Chicago, the birthplace of house music, Jory Hunt would play records at parties and family get togethers, It was only the beginning.

During the 80's & 90's he would listen to sets by local DJs as well as Legendary DJs like Frankie Knuckles, Farley "Jack Master" Keith, Andre Hatchett, and Ron Hardy as he would frequent local Chicago house music clubs like the prop house, and others to say the least. That experience sparked a dedication and a deep love for house music to present day as Jory Hunt performs under the moniker DJ-P.M., the PM is short for Pure Music, as in Pure Music, Inc.

Just like the energy on the dance floor in the earlier years at the local Chicago clubs created an environment of escape sought out by dedicated club heads, DJ-P.M. guarantees to make you dance, sweat, and come back for more. "I remember back in the day, my DJ crew and I would spin records for everyone, it was our outlet, a way to channel our energy for good, we even created a dance as we celebrated the love for spinning records".

As a self-taught DJ, DJ-P.M. continues to be inspired by some of the same names that lead the way for so many others and looks to take on another endeavor of producing records for local and overseas record labels that create some of the hottest global club/house music today.
