These acts are FUNNY and people love this music. These songs are perfect for dancing slow or fast in a vintage style or just listening. They will enhance any party.
Reverend Mary Elizabeth Micari has been singing all her life. She has specialized in Opera, musical theater, jazz, blues and pop. She is now creating several acts and has performed them all over NYC. She has an act called Down in the Alley and another called One Hour Mama. Both of these acts encompass a wonderful collection of vintage vaudeville and blues songs. All of them off color and very funny. She also has another act called The Lady in Black. These songs are also from the same era (phone number hidden)0 and show the darker side of love. There is also her fun look back at Marijuana in the (phone number hidden)0 period called I'm So High and her sweet version of love Flirtations which is also the same era but all sweet love songs from that time. Mary is also a Burlesque performer, comedian, actress, costume, wig and make up designer having worked professionally on Broadway, film, TV and more. She can include a wonderful assortment of musicians and burlesque dancers for your event or you can scale it all back and just get her and her wonderful pianist. Either way its a great night full of laughs, education and great music. Mary's voice is perfect for these songs and she is really a vocal artist, able to sing anything you give her!
We need a piano or room for an electric piano. One Mic for the pianist who does back up and one for Rev. Mary. We need chairs and one music stand or room for one.
IF you want more people we can add back up singers, drums, bass, guitar, horns and more. As you add more we'd need more hookups on a board and mics for back up.
