Gregory Carpenter is Chief Security Officer of Knowledge Bridge International, where he leads many aspects of information technology, information security, and data and analytics solutions to a broad customer base which includes defense, government, space, intelligence, and security customers worldwide. Gregory is the lead to provide services and solutions to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, supporting an international effort in combatting transnational cybercrimes.
Gregory was selected the National Security Agency’s Operations Officer of the Year in 2007, amongst other acknowledgments. In addition to being on the Board of Directors for ATNA Systems, he is a Senior Advisor for ARIC, Inc., and a former member of the Board of Advisors for EC-Council University and the International Board of Advisors for the Mackenzie Institute.
Previous positions included Chief of Security Testing for Titania Solutions Group and COO of (link hidden). Gregory also worked as the Counterintelligence Division Chief for the Army Research Labs and was Chief of Special Space Operations, Functional Team Lead for Electronic Warfare, and Chief of the Global Team at the National Security Agency. Gregory’s 27-year career in the military included numerous senior staff positions that included Chief of Current Operations and Command Security Manager for the 77th Reserve Command, Intelligence & Security Executive Officer, Deputy Chief of Intelligence at the Army Materiel Command, and detail assignments at the State Department and INTERPOL.
Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado Christian University, a Master of Science degree from Seton Hall University, and a Doctorate in Public Health from Walden University. He has earned certifications from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association as a Certified Information Security Manager and ISO-9000 lead auditor from the Irish Quality Center.
