Dressed in a tux or suit (as you prefer), I perform solo jazz-style guitar for your party, reception, cocktail hour and any other gathering where background jazz music would add the subtle warmth of beautiful music and the energy of improvisation. I am perfect for upscale lounge gigs and for corporate events. My catalogue ranges from standard jazz songs to re-interpretations of rock classics, and more, and the song list is always expanding.
I had the pleasure of having Ricky perform at my birthday party and couldn’t have been more impressed. His talent as a jazz guitarist shone through in both his solo pieces and when accompanied by other musicians. He provided the perfect backdrop of music for the event, keeping the volume at just the right level so guests could easily converse while still enjoying his performance.
At times, guests paused their conversations to watch and listen to him play, captivated by his entertaining and skilled performance. He had an excellent sense of timing, intuitively selecting faster or slower songs based on the room's mood. He knows the standards and brings his flair to other music genres.
On top of that, he was punctual, dressed appropriately for the occasion, and truly professional throughout the event. I highly recommend Ricky for anyone looking to elevate their event with exceptional live music.
