My guest and family had a great time while Rik crew was performing! They knew how to engage with my guests, make it interesting and fun, played a lot of songs that were requested. We had the best time! They were able to accommodate us very well playing before dinner on the first floor and after dinner in the basement! Best music entertainers I have had! Will hired them again!
Response from Rik Ferrell & the Borrowed Stars:
Many thanks! And vice versa! Happy Holidays! Please keep us in mind in 2025!

Our duo takes the time to understand exactly what you're looking for in a live music act, and we have the repertoire to fine tune our setlist to your particular needs.
We enjoy delivering a fun, upbeat performance, and love to get our audience's singing along throughout the performance. If you're looking for background music, there are better choices on here than us. SOME ARTISTS YOU'LL HEAR: Bob Marley, Bee Gees, Rolling Stones, Prince, Jimmy Buffett, Crosby Stills Nash, CCR, Kenny Rogers, Madonna, Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Kenny Chesney, Tom Petty, Beastie Boys, ABBA, Waylon Jennings, Green Day, Beatles, John Denver, ACDC, John Mellencamp, the Band, Led Zeppelin, the Drifters, Peter Tosh, Zac brown, Merle Haggard, Elton John, Bon Jovi, KC & the Sunshine Band, Willie Nelson, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Presley, and any more.
If you're looking for polite, unobtrusive background music, stop reading this. You'll hate us.
But if you want a fun, high-energy music act, with a style that was born in the FL Keys and a fresh, fun songlist that's got something for just about everyone,
I'm Pacifico Rik Ferrell, a lifelong singer/songwriter/showman, performing a blend of Classic Rock, Coastal Country & Island Groove by a diverse group of iconic artists from The Bee Gees to the Beastie Boys, plus a list of hook-filled original songs that receive regular airplay on a number of trop Rock & Outlaw County radio stations.
Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, I got my start in the tiki bars and waterfront venues along the Chesapeake Bay and MD/DE/VA seashore, and now split my performing time between the mid-Atlantic and South Florida. The band and I are all about delivering a good time, and keeping people smiling, dancing, and partying.
I'm proud to say that own albums include notable musicians such as Daniel Clarke (keyboards & bandleader for KD Lang), drummer Dusty Ray Simmons (Ryan Adams band), and producer Mark Williams (OAR, Fountains of Wayne, Vertical Horizon, and I've performed live shows with a long list of national artists, including the Avett Brothers, Jonny Lang, Gin Blossoms, & members of country legends Alabama.
Rik Ferrell & the Borrowed Stars performs in any configuration needed, from solo to 6pc. Solo, duo, & trio are great fits for cocktail parties, receptions, and corporate events, and our full band fits the bill for parties, festivals, & fundraisers to get folks up and dancing.
We have a mega list of cover songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and from this century too--happy to share it upon request--AND also happy to consider your own requests as well. And if you want to hear it for yourself, my original music appears on all major streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, You Tube, & Pandora.
The band and I would love to work with you--hope you'll consider us for your next event.
We are a 2-pc act--guitar and drums with 2 vocals.
GENERAL NEEDS: Flat man-made surface with close access to power* and overhead cover to protect from sun, rain, etc. Vehicle access for loading/unloading.
FOOTPRINT: We can fit in a space as small as 10x10, but prefer at least 10x20 whenever possible.
AUDIO: Our PA is a Bose Tower, yet can project well from a backyard to a small hall.
VISUAL: Depending on the venue/event time of day we may need additional lighting beyond what what we've got.
*if you're planning to use a generator, we will need additional details on the system.
