My goal is to always play what brings out the best in the song and the band, without stepping on any toes and leaving generous space to allow the music to breath, while providing a strong and steady pulse that allows each player the room to fully express and engage themselves in the musical conversation. A good solid and tasty drummer can make all the difference in a band, by bringing a powerful cohesion to the group and helping to raise the playing ability and performance level of all those on stage.
