There are some great musicians on this site, but I have to say what I do is totally unique an different. I've been involved in the music business all my adult life, My experience helps me gauge ambiance, volume control, song selection for your special event.

This is the 2nd year our community requested Mr. Carr for our Jazz Poolside Event. It was a wonderful evening of great songs that kept us singing and dancing. He is a fan favorite for our community and we will invite him back whenever we host such events. Mr. Carr is very professional and extremely versed in his Jazz repertoire. We highly recommend him if you want to host a classy, fun and musically exciting event.

OMG!! Robert was a very last minute addition to my holiday party, anf I'm so glad I did! He was so professional and he's a great artist. All of my guests enjoyed the energy and vibe he brought to the party. I will hire him again in a heartbeat!!

It was the first Jazz by Poolside event our community. Mr. Carr was the consummate professional. It began to rain just as our event started, but Mr. Carr had a contingency plan and after the rain passed we had an outstanding performance. Adults and children enjoyed his musical selections, culminating in a perfect inaugural poolside event. We will definitely be adding Mr. Carr to our annual calendar of community events. We highly recommend him.

About
A little about my background, I was born in Chicago, and was raised in Buffalo, New York an currently live here in Atlanta.
In the 80s, I joined the US ARMY. I was chosen to perform the USO Tour in Germany with various diverse musical venues and shows. I performed with Lou Rawls, Sister Sledge, Al Jarreau to name a few. When my Armed Forces career ended and after extensive research I made a professional decision to open my own Production and Recording Studio, Carr Studio Productions. I currently working with Key Signature of Charlotte NC and Blue-Sky Booking Agencies performing numerous varieties of performances, corporate events, ceremonies & weddings.
I passionately enjoy performing Smooth, Contemporary and Traditional Jazz. There is no event too large or small to attract a crowd. My vision is always to keep the patrons engaged and feeling all of those wonderful emotions that beautiful music can bring.
