Overview
We are a high energy 5 piece band that covers Tom Petty, Janis Joplin, Journey, Bad Company, Eddie Money, Dire Straits, Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, John Cougar and more! We also have a horn section that can sit in on request to do some Chicago, Huey Lewis, Blues Brothers and more!
You may have seen our members in Cinema 7, Loose Change, Heartbreaker and Heartless. No crazy wigs or fancy light shows ( but we do like those) , just awesome Rock and Roll!

What to Expect
If you want a fun band with a professional and superior work ethic than Rock Candy should be your choice. We never miss a gig, show up early and play longer than most bands. We will dress for your occasion be it formal or casual.
We only need power and a place to perform (no crazy requirements like some bands). Stages or risers are appreciated, but not a deal breaker and if we are outside we would love some shade!
We have an excellent sound system for indoor or outdoor venues. Even though we are a rock cover band, we also play the blues, so we can cater to your specific needs.
About
Rock Candy is made up of cover band professionals from the Sacramento/Folsom and Lincoln area.
Past bands our members were part of include: Tone Monkeys, Loose Change, Heartless, Red Radio, Cinema 7, City Kidd, Heartbreaker, Rob Hannah and many more. Laura Shultz is the lead singer and covers songs that most female rock singers shy away from! Her favorites are Zeppelin and Def Leppard as well as Janis Joplin. Bill Glaholt plays amazing keyboard and also sings several songs as well as singing back up. Our lead guitar player Brooke Bright is an amazing guitar player who also tends to sing a lot like the late great Tom Petty! Gina Bright plays the bass, but is also a talented guitar player. Dave Sarver comes from a rocker back ground of playing in New Orleans as well as Reno. He is a hard hitting drummer who is always "on time".
We are an easy band to work with. We will supply you our set list and we can modify it to fit your needs. We want every show to make our clients happy. None of us are divas and we appreciate the opportunity to share what we love doing with our clients and their guests.
Additional Booking Notes
We are a 5 piece band with lead singer, bass player, guitar player, drummer and keyboard player.
We have an in ear monitor system for most shows and have our own sound equipment, but love to play at establishments where sound is provided as well.
We prefer to start setting up two hours before the event to haul in equipment and do our sound checks.
We don't require a stage or risers, but prefer them.
We have 2 subwoofers, 2 powered state speakers, power bass driver, Presonus 16 with shure 600 analog wireless in-ear monitors.
4 vocal stands and microphones.
